Energy drink plans to reach Cloud 9
A similar association was inked between Indian Energy drink brand, Cloud 9 and Veer, the latest Bollywood flick of Salman Khan in the films promotional event called "Veer Ka Darbaar" at Oberoi Mall, Mumbai. The five day long promotional event started on 18th January and ended on the release day of the film i.e. 22nd January. Cloud 9 was the main sponsor for the affair.
Talking to Adgully, Jayesh Joshi, Group CEO, Cloud 9, explained the idea behind the alliance and said, "There is a relevant brand connect between the film and our product. While Veer is a warrior and an energetic character that helps drive the foreign rulers out of the country, similarly cloud 9 is an energy drink and has made a big market in India replacing foreign brands."
Joshi also revealed the future plans of the brand and said, "We are looking forward to expand our market overseas in next one year and we also plan to enter the cola and soft drink segment."
The final day of the event was quite a success as Salman Khan himself came to the event and shared some lighter moments with his fans. A large number of fans had gathered at the mall to get a glimpse of their favourite star. He also judged and gave goodies and prizes to the winners of different games that the event had organised like Veer ka Dum, Veer ki Dulhan, Veer ka Teer etc.
The event as a whole gave good amount of coverage to both, the film as well as the sponsors and we wish both a good luck in their business.
