Red FM's satire: The Right to be Wrong
Red FM has noticed the fact that with the course of time, all of us have made our own set of fundamental rights, which are basically "wrongs" but we take great pride in exercising them. For instance the right to not pay taxes, the right to drink and drive or the right to not exercise one's vote.
On the occasion of Republic Day, Red FM is shining the spotlight on such wrongs that citizens have made their fundamental rights.
Speaking about the unique initiative, Anuj Singh, National Marketing Head, Red FM, says, "26th January is a day of great pride for all of us Indians but at Red FM we wanted to point out all those wrongs that we do conveniently believing them to be our rights. However, the route taken to do this is in keeping with our Bajaate Raho attitude and is a tongue in cheek commentary on people's attitudes."
The Red FM RJs will be leading this activity by talking to celebrities, government officials, traffic regulation violators, jaywalkers, college students, etc. and asking them what rights (wrongs) they have made for themselves.
Red FM will also be running a contest asking listeners to send in their own personal right to be wrong. On 26th January the Red FM Outdoor Broadcast Jocks will be on the ground asking people on the streets what they think about the right to be wrong; and how the same can be rectified.
