Ford and Pepsi sponsor Fuller's dream

Simon Fuller, the brain behind American Idol, has innovated an interactive online reality show "If I can Dream" which essays the lives of five talents- one musician, one actor, two actresses and a model- trying to make it big in Hollywood on the merit of sheer talent.

The show is to be sponsored by Ford and Pepsi and bypasses TV in favor of Hula, the first time the site will host a full-length program and one too which recurs. Available online 24-hours, the show will culminate in end-week recaps on Hula,Newscorp, NBC Universal and shall be broadcast by radio in the US by Clear Content and NewsCorps MySpace.

Although reminiscent of other reality shows, audiences are enabled to watch progressions in the show at any time, real time and may interact and give suggestions to the participants through blogs, text, Twitter and Facebook which they can follow up on the ificandream site and improvise on.

The show takes entertainment to a new level unlike any other seen before and gives insight into the effort to launch the careers of talent who make it big on the basis of sheer merit.

Pepsi is partnering with Fuller 19 Entertainment to bring this about as part of the Pepsi refresh project 2010, and both Ford and If Only I can Dream stand to gain by reciprocal visibility as it hinges on the Fiesta pre-launch of Ford.
