FUJIFILM India unveils Instax WIDE Evo™ Hybrid Instant with Kartik Aaryan
FUJIFILM India has launched the instax WIDE Evo™, a high-end hybrid instant camera, at an event graced by Bollywood sensation and instax™ brand ambassador Kartik Aaryan. The WIDE Evo builds on the success of the instax mini Evo™, offering users the popular double-card-sized WIDE format film and a wealth of creative possibilities.
The WIDE Evo allows users to preview images on the LCD monitor before printing, and also functions as a smartphone printer. Its standout feature is the combination of ten lens effects (including new additions like Magenta and Monochrome) and ten film effects (such as Light Leak and Color Gradient), which can be combined to create 100 different shooting effects.
For the first time in the instax™ series, the WIDE Evo introduces "Degree Control" for lens effects, enabling 100 levels of fine-tuning for light intensity and color gradation. This, coupled with the new "Film Style" framing feature and "Wide Angle Mode" for dynamic shots, provides over 100,000 possible expressions, making each photo potentially a masterpiece.
The camera boasts a luxurious design, combining black with metallic accents. It also incorporates analog-style controls, including dials for effect selection and a "Print crank" for printing.
Kartik Aaryan expressed his enthusiasm for the camera, stating, "The instax WIDE Evo™ is a perfect blend of trend and nostalgia… I’m excited to see how this camera inspires everyone to embrace their inner artist.”
Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and bringing joy through its products. Arun Babu, Associate Director & Head of Digital Camera, Instax & Optical Devices Business, FUJIFILM India, added that the WIDE Evo's features like Degree Control and Wide Angle Mode offer versatile shooting expressions, aligning with their tagline "make every shot a masterpiece."
Alongside the WIDE Evo, Fujifilm is also launching the "BRUSHED METALLICS" WIDE format film, featuring unique gradations and a metallic texture. The WIDE Evo is available from February 4, 2025.
