Future Generali India Life Insurance unveils #UnboxYourPolicy campaign

Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited has launched its latest campaign, #UnboxYourPolicy, on National Insurance Awareness Day. This initiative aims to educate life insurance policyholders about the importance of understanding policy details while encouraging awareness and transparency.

Life insurance primarily safeguards the policyholders and their families’ futures, hence it is crucial for both, the policyholder and the beneficiary to be fully aware of the key features and benefits.

“Despite purchasing life insurance for security, many individuals do not open their policy documents. We believe that policyholders must know what they have signed up for, and this campaign is our way of encouraging consumers to be more aware of what they have bought and not just at the point of claims.” said Geetanjali Chugh Kothari, Chief Marketing Officer of Future Generali India Life Insurance. “With #UnboxYourPolicy campaign, we aim to create awareness among policyholders to read and understand the most important document- the policy document.” She added.

Policyholders invest their hard-earned money, and a life insurance policy is a product that they buy for the security of their loved ones and not themselves. To ensure that their family has the coverage they deserve, policyholders must open the policy document and ensure they have bought what they need and importantly, what they were promised. As a product that will replace the financial income in case of unforeseen circumstances, a life insurance policy holds the responsibility of ensuring that the family’s lifestyle is not compromised. Furthermore, becoming more aware and vigilant about their life insurance purchase will also mitigate any frauds and mis-selling. On the occasion of National Insurance Awareness Day, Future Generali India Life Insurance has launched a toll-free number- 1800 102 2355 where all life insurance policyholders can access support any time from 10 am to 6 pm to understand their policy document and know what they have signed up for.

The #UnboxYourPolicy Campaign will be live across meta and other digital platforms. It uses simple, caricature-based conversations that focus on customer insight to encourage awareness around key benefits of the policyholder’s life insurance policy.

Through this initiative, Future Generali India Life Insurance underscores its dedication to raise awareness among policyholders about their life insurance plans.
