Grand Finale of The Hindu Match Point Sports Quiz 2024 held

 The Hindu hosted the grand finale of the inaugural edition of The Hindu Match Point Sports Quiz 2024 at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai, bringing together media agencies from across the country recently. The quiz culminated in an exciting showdown where Kunal Baghel and Abhisek Thakur from Interactive Avenues, New Delhi emerged as the champion, winning the cash prize of ₹2 lakhs. Sujay Shetty and Rishabh Thaker from Group M, Mumbai, who were the runners-up won ₹75,000.

While Karan and Saqhib from Dentsu Creative, Bangalore was the second runner- up, Archit and Harsh from Interactive Avenues, New Delhi were also the finalists.

The inaugural The Hindu Match Point Sports Quiz 2024 marked a significant event for The Hindu, aiming to ignite a passion for sports within the media industry while strengthening its longstanding relationships with media agencies across India. Over 100 agencies from New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru participated in a thrilling preliminary online round, with the top five teams from each city advancing to the regional finals on September 30. In a spirited competition, regional winners—GroupM, Interactive Avenues, and Dentsu Creative—emerged to compete in the grand finale held at Mumbai’s iconic Cricket Club of India on October 16. This initiative provided an exciting platform for sports enthusiasts within media agencies to indulge their passion for sports, engage in lively quizzing, and compete for fantastic prizes, all while fortifying their connection with The Hindu brand.
