Helpage India ropes in Bollywood actors

Supporting India's oldest and most respected NGO, Helpage India, serving the old and the infirm for the last 32 years, Adhyayan Suman started a new trend by joining hands with hundreds of NCC cadets at the NCC headquarters here to pledge support against abuse towards our silent and weak, ageing population.

Celebrating the World Elder Absue Awareness Day with NCC cadets, distinguished army brass and senior citizens, Adhyayan was an inspiration to the young in showing the way for deeper involvement of our young people in the lives of our older relatives/citizens.

Accompanied by his father, Shekhar Suman, who has been a supporter of Helpage himself, the Bollywood newbie and star of films like Raaz -2 and Jashn seemed to be turning a new leaf in joining a cause away which many of us and especially the young Indians often tend to ignore; the protection and service towards our elder population. Adhyayan Suman has pledged ongoing support to all Helapge India events and awareness campaigns in a bidd to inspire more young people to come forward in join this initiaitive.
