How brands are leveraging marketing strategies this tax filing season

In a world of ever-changing tax laws and regulations, educating regular Indians about taxation is a significant responsibility. ClearTax has embraced this responsibility for years. Launched in 2011, the Bangalore-based tax filing portal has been a trailblazer in the fintech industry.

 As another tax season approaches, ClearTax is ramping up its marketing strategies. After hosting numerous live webinars and virtual workshops with tax experts to guide customers and provide personalized advice, they have now launched the widely talked about #IdharNahiTohKidhar campaign, highlighting the simplicity of filing taxes with ClearTax.

 With many adults agreeing that taxes should be part of the school curriculum, ClearTax has taken on the task of educating Indian adults about tax filing, recent tax law changes, and tips to maximize returns through their detailed blog posts and articles.

 We went through the ClearTax portal to uncover these innovative features and here’s a list of new additions you can find this year.

 First is their brand new AI Assistant, "Ask Neha." to accompany you through your entire tax filing process, offering 24/7 assistance for all your tax-related questions.

 Then there is the One Click Capital Gain Data Import which allows you to directly import all your capital gains data from major brokers such as Zerodha, Groww, AngelOne, etc. They have also introduced an Ask Your Expert Friend Feature which allows you to invite anyone you choose to review your ITR before filing.

 There are many other features like Easy-Autofill to avoid manual data entry, and Tax Saving Report which includes all the details of your ITR in a visually simplified format that you can download before completing your filing.

 Our favorite was the WhatsApp filing feature that allows easy tax filing for blue-collar professionals like food delivery agents, pickup drivers, etc.

 These features have simplified the process significantly and made tax filing much easier and efficient. To avoid last-minute hassles they have also been running early bird discounts for early tax filers and referral offers for existing customers.
