IKEA India’s festive spot embraces spontaneity in new campaign

As India gears up for the festive season, IKEA India's new campaign, "Make Room for All Things Festive," captures the magic of unplanned moments that make celebrations truly special.

Developed by Leo Burnett, the campaign film showcases a young couple planning their festive party. While they have a checklist – from cleaning to decorating – the real joy unfolds through unexpected twists, like impromptu ghazal singing and a spontaneous group selfie on the couch.

The campaign highlights how IKEA's adaptable and affordable furniture can transform to accommodate any festive need. A cocktail glass becomes a mithai bowl, an armchair transforms into a selfie zone, a lamp becomes a karaoke mic, and a bed can host both cozy sleep-overs and vibrant mehendi parties.

"Festivals are about togetherness and cherished memories with loved ones," said Anna Ohlin, Country Marketing Manager, IKEA India. "Our campaign shows how IKEA products can adapt to unexpected moments, making your home festive-ready for anything."
