Jitender Dabas bids farewell to McCann after 14 years

Jitender Dabas is set to exit McCann Worldgroup after more than 14 years at the agency. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Dabas confirmed his departure to Adgully. 

He joined McCann India in 2015 as Executive Vice President & Head of Strategy and played a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s strategic direction. With nearly 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, he has worked with major brands such as Pepsi Foods, Nokia, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Hero Honda, General Motors, Mastercard, and Sony.

An IIT Delhi alumnus, Dabas began his career at Draft FCB Ulka (now FCB Ulka) and went on to work with J. Walter Thompson (JWT) and Grey Worldwide India Pvt Ltd. However, the most significant part of his career was spent at McCann, where he led strategy across its various divisions, including McCann, McCann Health, MRM/McCann, and Momentum Worldwide.
