"Kakuda" Starring Sonakshi and Riteish Creates Buzz Ahead ZEE5 Release

In a recent interview with Zoom, Riteish Deshmukh clarified the rumors surrounding "Kakuda" taking digs at popular horror comedies Stree and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. He explained that the film is not mocking these hits but rather paying homage to them. Deshmukh stated, "Filmmakers often reference successful films, and 'Kakuda' is no exception. There's a line in the film, 'Bhooton se darr nahi lagta, insaanon se lagta hai,' which is an ode to these iconic films, not a dig."

The speculation arose after a scene in the "Kakuda" trailer, where Deshmukh's character calls the ghosts of Stree and Bhool Bhulaiyaa boring. Deshmukh's clarification aims to set the record straight, emphasizing the film's intention to honor, not parody, these beloved movies.
