Kingshuk Mitra joins Disney Star as Ad Sales Head

Kingshuk Mitra has been appointed as the Ad Sales Head at Disney Star, according to recent reports. In this new role, he will directly report to Ajit Varghese, the Head of Network. Mitra's appointment comes after the departure of Ambarish Bandyopadhyay from the company in March.

Before joining Disney Star, Kingshuk Mitra served as the COO-APAC at Essence and had an extensive tenure of over 16 years with GroupM. He also briefly worked with Madison World and previously served at Emami.

As the new Ad Sales Head, Mitra's main responsibility will be to drive the advertising sales initiatives for Disney Star. His vast experience in the industry is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to the company's advertising endeavours.
