Licious makes acquisition of My Chicken and More for Rs 200 Crore
Licious, India’s leading premium meat and seafood brand, has announced its acquisition of *My Chicken and More* for a deal valued between Rs 150-200 crore. This strategic move highlights Licious's goal to expand its offline retail presence, aligning with the growing consumer preference for purchasing fresh meat from physical stores, as per industry sources. As part of its long-term growth strategy, Licious plans to open 40 physical meat stores by the end of the fiscal year. This acquisition boosts its brand presence, particularly in the Bengaluru market, where My Chicken and More already has an established base. The offline expansion is expected to play a crucial role in Licious’s overall revenue, with projections suggesting it could push the company's revenue to Rs 400 crore after acquisition.
