Lilliput wins the giant honour at Emerging India Awards

Lilliput Kidswear has won the "SME of the Year' award, one of honours bestowed across 12 categories to various companies as part of the Emerging India Awards, organised by ICICI Bank, CNBC-TV18, and supported by CRISIL. The awards seek to recognise and celebrate exceptional performances of India's small and medium enterprises (SME).

The ceremony to fete the awardees was held in Delhi on November 19.

Apart from Lilliput, other winners included Rate Gain IT Solutions (the most promising small Enterprise of the Year); Nandan Biomatrix Limited (Green Business of the Year); and HGS-India (automobile and ancillaries). Kamarhatty Company was declared the winner in non-retail traders and others category; Renaissance Jewellery took the honours in gems and jewellery category; and Sipra Labs in pharma and chemicals category.

Humming Bird Suites' performance in the travel and tourism sector was awarded; Quick Heal Technologies was honoured in the ICE and ITeS category; and Om Metals Infraprojects in the infrastructure category. Viva Infomedia was the winner for its accomplishments in the ecommerce sphere.
