LinkedIn empowers mobile professionals with the new iPad app

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network with more than 150 million members worldwide and over 14 million in India, today announced the launch of the LinkedIn application for iPad. Taking into account the new and specific ways that professionals are using their mobile devices, this application aims at helping professionals to be better prepared and empowered to make smarter business decisions wherever they may be working.

The mobile platform is the fastest growing consumer service at LinkedIn with 22% of LinkedIn traffic coming from mobile devices. The LinkedIn iPad experience has been built and designed taking into account the unique and specific ways that professionals use their iPads.
