Rediffusion - Y&R names Amitava Sinha as COO!

Amitava Sinha, who was elevated as Chief Operating Officer - East & South last year, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Rediffusion-Y & R. He will take over the additional responsibility of Rediffusion-Y & R's Delhi office with immediate effect. Abhik Santara, Vice President of Rediffusion-Y & R, Delhi will report into Amitava Sinha.

Under Amitava's stewardship the agency will aim to deliver better synergies to the brands that it works on through a larger talent pool and enhanced collaboration between offices.

Amitava has over 25 years of experience in marketing and advertising, having worked on several large clients such as ITC, Eveready, Reckitt, Bata, Tata Steel, Berger Paints, Spencer's, Ananda Bazar Patrika, United Spirits and Arvind Fashion to name just a few. He joined Rediffusion-Y & R in October 2003 as head of Kolkata operations and subsequently assumed a Group role. During his nine year tenure in the agency, Amitava has played a pivotal part in growing business significantly in the East and South and building strong client partnerships.
