LML's SG Corporate Mobility summons Bajaj Auto over Freedom trademark

A lawsuit has been filed against Bajaj Auto Ltd by SG Corporate Mobility, LML's parent company before Delhi HC. It is alleged that Bajaj Freedom CNG Motorbikes is using LML's 'Freedom' trademark in unauthorised way, infringing on trademark rights. In the year 2002 SG Corporate Mobility has launched the 'LML Freedom' motorcycle.
SG Corporate Mobility remains committed to the protection of the 'Freedom' trademark intending to revive the brand through LML Emotion Pvt Ltd.
In the year 2022, SG Corporate Mobility partnered with Saera Electric Auto, related to LML Freedom Motorbikes. The law firm Anand and Anand is representing SG Corporate Mobility Ltd.
