Mathrubhumi’s MV Shreyams Kumar elected INS President

The 85 Annual General meeting of the Indian Newspaper Society – an apex body of publishers of newspapers, magazines and periodicals – was held through video conference yesterday (September 27, 2024).

MV Shreyams Kumar of Mathrubhumi has been elected President of the Indian Newspaper Society for the year 2024-25. He succeeds Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj.

Vivek Gupta of Sanmarg has been elected Deputy President, while Lokmat’s Karan Rajendra Darda is the Vice-President. Tanmay Maheshwari of Amar Ujala is the Honorary Treasurer of the Society for the year 2024-25.

Mary Paul is the Secretary-General of the Society.
