Maxus expands its global trading team; Picks Simon Porter as Asia Pacific Head of Trading

Media services agency Maxus, has expanded its global trading team by appointing Simon Porter as Asia Pacific Head of Trading.

Porter, who is based in Hong Kong, begins work immediately. Prior to joining Maxus he worked as AV Trading Director at UK media agency Walker Media.

The announcement was made by Maxus Asia Pacific CEO Neil Stewart, who said the agency's explosive growth over the past two years made the appointment a critical next step in the agency's development.

"All of our clients are looking for smarter ways to reach fragmented audiences efficiently," Stewart said. "Simon's experience in one of the most advanced trading markets ' across online and offline channels - makes him the right man for the job."

Porter added: "I am delighted to be joining Maxus at such an exciting time. Their performance has been exceptional over the past two years and their approach is ideally suited to a fast-changing marketplace."

Porter reports to Stewart and Andrew Meaden, GroupM's Asia Pacific Trading Director.
