MEC unveils its 'Review Preview'

MEC, a leading media agency, has released its second edition of Review Preview, a collection of global essays that pull together the most significant trends from the past year while also looking forward to what 2012 and 2013 have to offer.

The contributions, written by some of MEC's most senior staff from across its international network, give a truly global perspective on the industry and provide a collection of articles to stimulate industry discussion.

Some of the key Review essays include:

- Andy Wasef, Head of Mobile and Emerging Platforms, North America looking at Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon and some of their new products and services

- Jeff Hyams, Chief Strategy Officer, EMEA discussing all things tablet and how it is becoming a preferred format for users

And looking forward, the Preview includes:

A look at the digital revolution on the high street from Peter Grenfell, Chief Innovation Officer, Australia

Theresa LaMontagne from Analytics and Insight in North America working with David Fletcher from Analytics and Insight in the UK commenting on data remaining the "go-to' trend in the media and marketing industries

Commenting on Review Preview, Jeff Hyams, Chief Strategy Officer, EMEA, said "The contributions have come from MEC's incredible global network and really provide an international flavour to what is happening in the media world. The collection of essays really will show the importance of data on the world stage and in the upcoming year, there's so much to look forward to including the first "Digital Olympics' and potentially even the first Presidential election fought over just 140 characters on Twitter. Whilst the financial outlook is still difficult to predict, there are exciting developments across the world of communications and technology that will make the year ahead one of the most exciting yet."
