Media to capitalize on FT innovation
In an enterprising and innovative year-long campaign, the Financial Times Asia bureau has centered around the "quest for knowledge as a means of imbuing media planners in Asia of advertising options the FT Wisdom widget, courtesy Financial Times' OMD and Tribal DDB wings.
In a bid to move this, FT cargoed real bonsai trees( the concept being central to the widget ' coming in the form of a rotating juniper bonsai tree from China- as a plinth for tailored FT stories geared to meet specific user demand) to selected media buyers in Singapore and Hong Kong , the maintenance of which shall be undertaken by FT "as a means of enlightening the recipients of FT's package", as declared by FT regional marketing head, Jocelyn Cripps.
She elaborated upon the need to enhance media awareness of the FT and added that the widget shall aid in disseminating information on FT news and roster latest updates on its clients.
