Mediaedge:cia in an active engagement with ZEEL

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) has allocated its media duties to Mediaedge:cia (MEC) amongst all the agency in the pitch process. Previously the duties were handled by Madison Media, who are still responsible for the media duties for the parent company, Essel Group.

In a conversation with Adgully, T Gangadhar, MD, MEC India, has confirmed the news. He was not in the position to comment on the topic now but has assured to give in-depth details on Monday. The accounts size is said to be around Rs 50 crore which will be confirmed only on Monday.

ZEEL has 14 television channels under its belt in almost all the different genres and always believes in being the No. 1 in profitability. It plans to the lead overall in the year ahead by bringing new content. With the appointment of the new media agency in the beginning of the year they are looking quite aggressive with their advertising plans too.
