Ms Bikini India 2012 kicks off today!

India’s most glamorous beauty pageant and Reality Show Ms Bikini India 2012 kicks off on 12th May. About 100 odd-models have signed up for the auditions in Mumbai which will be followed by other towns like Pune, Delhi, Kolkatta and Bangalore. The main finale will be held in June at Goa, say sources. All female models either married or single from 18 to 30 years of age are eligible to participate in the event. 500-plus models from India and abroad will vie for the top three slots , according to the organizers of the event. A salient feature of this year’s event is that fact that both married and unmarried models can participate on the same platform which is now open to Indian and foreign models simultaneously. However foreign models must have a work permit to participate in the event. 

 

The event will be held over a span of one month with the finale in Goa around the last week of June this year. An online event on the Facebook page facebook.com/ms.bikini.india is also part of the grand pageant. 

 

A special highlight of this year’s event is an exclusive coffee table book titled India’s Top 100 Bikini Models which will be released after the main event. 100 bikini models will be featured in the book and will be graded as per the votes obtained from a contest conducted by a popular entertainment portal, explained a spokesperson of Futuristic Media Network, the organizers of the event. The mega event is very popular among the youth in India and is expected to generate billions of hits and traffic for the websites and portals associated with the event.
