National Poker Series 2025 unveils ‘Never Play Second’ campaign

National Poker Series India, a competitive Poker series, has rolled out its bold new campaign, ‘Never Play Second’, ahead of its highly anticipated 5th edition. Designed to inspire players to aim for the top, the campaign sets the stage for a record-breaking tournament series with a prize pool of INR 100 Crore, hosted on PokerBaazi from 23rd February to 24th March 2025.

The National Poker Champion Showdown (NPC) has been announced—India’s first national-level hunt for a Poker champion. This exclusive offline event in Goa will see the top 12 players from different states compete for a winner-takes-all prize of INR 1 Crore. The champion will also secure free entry for all players from their state (who participated in at least one National Poker Series India tournament) into another INR 1 Crore event.

‘Never Play Second’ Campaign: Inspiring Excellence in Poker
The ‘Never Play Second’ campaign showcases some of India’s top Poker professionals in a series of impactful films that emphasize the sport’s strategic brilliance. Focused on the pursuit of gold as the ultimate achievement, the campaign delivers a powerful message: “Every hand you play, every move you make, it’s a race to the top.”

The NPC Showdown elevates state-level rivalries to the national stage. Players will be selected based on their performance in the India Leaderboard, which tracks medal points during the tournament. In addition to the INR 1 Crore prize, the highest medal tally winner from each state/union territory will receive INR 2,00,000 in cash prizes.
Since its inception, National Poker Series India has become a cornerstone of the country’s Poker ecosystem, with over 5.3 lakh entries, 400 tournaments, and more than 1200 medals awarded. The 2024 edition alone saw 2.25 lakh entries competing for INR 62.5+ Crore, with Deepak Singh from Delhi crowned overall champion.
