Nokia shuns traditional media
The mobile handset major Nokia has completely said no to traditional media. The company has decided to use only digital media for its newly launched model - N97 Mini.
As per the reports, the company is planning to spend around Rs 7 crore on the digital medium to announce the launch of the phone. According to the market trends, the Rs 7-crore budget is bit too much as companies go maximum to Rs1 crore.
However for the launch of other phone models like N97, N96, E75 and E72, Nokia has used both the digital and traditional media. But this time the company innovates something new.
N97 Mini is an internet-connected multimedia phone in which various mobile applications or widgets, such as Twitter, Facebook and Gmail come pre-loaded.
