Nothing unveils Hardware Design winner of community edition project
Nothing, based in London disclosed the Stage 1 winner and the Stage 2 submissions for The Community Edition Project, a first-of-its-kind co-creation initiative inviting members of the community for designing, packaging, customising and launching a new variation of Phone (2a).
Nothing is thrilled to be announcing Kenta and Astrid as the winners of Stage 1: Hardware Design who operate a creative studio together, and partnered to craft their Phone (2a) concept: Phosphorescence. For more informaton, head to the Nothing’s X/Twitter on the design. Nothing has got more than 400 submissions prior to an internal jury selecting a winner. They will now be embarking on the co-creation process alongside Nothing’s Industrial Design Team and R&D team for bringing the concept to life.
Elsewhere, Stage 2: Wallpaper Design opens today. Nothing community members can design a series of four wallpapers that seamlessly integrate with the winning hardware design. Colours, patterns and shapes displayed at the front of the phone should continue the story being told at the back.
