One Direction's smash hit song 'What Makes You Beautiful' will feature on 'Glee'.

The British boy band - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - have been given the honor of having their single being performed on the musical TV drama, following in the footsteps of stars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Queen.

Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester in the show, said: ''I've just heard of them, they're really taking over the States. We are covering one of their songs on 'Glee' - 'What Makes You Beautiful'. I need to YouTube it to practice.''

Since starting their tour, One Direction - who were put together on the UK version of 'The X Factor' in 2010 after each member auditioned as a solo artist - have gone to number one in the US album chart with their debut LP 'Up All Night' and they have been greeted by screaming fans wherever they go.
