Pix brings "Hot Tub Time Machine" to India
PIX has acquired the rights to screen this movie on television for the first time ever sometime later this year. 2010 has marked quite a few big acquisitions for the channel already. Early this year, the channel announced the acquisition for "This Is It" ' A documentary on Michael Jackson soon to be aired on PIX. Last year, PIX picked up the acquisition rights for "Slumdog Millionaire" which was a major turning point for the channel.
Being one of the biggest comedy hits this year, the Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and John Cusack starrer, the movie embraces its stupidity in an outrageous and absurd trip back to 1986 that is an absolute laughter riot right from the word GO! The movie is about a group of best friends who're bored with their adult lives: Adam (John Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Rob Corddry) is a party guy who can't find the party; Nick's (Craig Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video gameâ€obsessed Jacob (Clark Duke) won't leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures ' one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!
