Radio Misty celebrates Rahman's Birthday

Radio Misty 94.3 FM and Radio Misty Sikkim 95 FM, celebrated the music maestro A R Rahman's birthday on 6 January and aired special shows in theme of Jai Ho.

Nishant Mittal, Chief Executive Officer, Radio Misty, said, "Rahman is the most popular singer and composer. We celebrated his birthday with much fanfare. Listeners called up at our studios to greet Rahman on his birthday. We aired all popular songs from Rahman's music journey."

The different programs aired during the day had musical packages dedicated to Rahman's music and compositions. It also discussed and focused on the journey of living legend from his childhood to the present time. In order to tap his huge fan following, special contests were also crafted on each show, where Music cds of Rahman were gifted.
