Rahul Saigal returns to Ogilvy India as Chief Growth Officer

Ogilvy India has appointed Rahul Saigal as its Chief Growth Officer (Specialist Offerings), marking his return to the network where he previously spent nearly a decade. With over 25 years of corporate experience, Rahul brings a wealth of expertise in marketing, brand activation, and social impact initiatives.

Rahul’s journey with Ogilvy began in 2008, when he launched the agency’s shopper marketing practice, securing clients such as Coca-Cola, Britannia, GSK, HUL, and Mondelez. In 2013, he was entrusted with leading Ogilvy Action/Geometry Global in India, during which the agency was recognized as the Best Specialist Agency of the Year for two consecutive years at Campaign’s Agency of the Year Awards. His last role within the WPP network was as Executive Director, Govt and Public Practice at WPP, overseeing large-scale projects in the public and social impact sectors.

Beyond his tenure at Ogilvy, Rahul has built a strong track record in setting up and leading specialist practices, including shopper marketing, rural and urban consumer activation, field marketing, event management, healthcare marketing, and behaviour change communication. He has worked with leading clients such as HUL, Coca-Cola, Mondelez, GSK, Vodafone, Tata Sky, Diageo, and the Government of India.

For the last eight years, Rahul took the entrepreneurial route, focusing on social impact projects and running a digital marketing agency. Before rejoining Ogilvy, he was the lead at ARC Worldwide, Publicis’ brand activation and shopper marketing firm.

Government and Social Impact

Additionally, he will collaborate on strengthening existing practices such as PR&I and Healthcare while exploring new avenues for growth. Based in Gurugram, Rahul’s leadership is expected to drive Ogilvy India’s expansion and innovation in the evolving marketing landscape.
