RCom forays deeper into e-governance

A huge contract for Reliance Communications of over 900 million crores, RCom is set to infrastructurally guide e- governance in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Kerala in a bid to offer a mobile platform to various government departments in the states in tandem with two VAS partners.

RCom's appointment comes as no big surprise with the Himachal government tying up with Space Digital last year in a bid towards e-governance and the Lok Sabha Secretariat collaborating with Value.

R-Com is lobbying for similar contracts in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka.
