Flak for MySpace for saving Imeem

Recently closing down the acquisition of failed and bankrupt music service provider Imee, Imeem followers who number in the millions today blame Myspace for Imeem's demise, the decision to shut down being made by the Imeem service provider and creditors but mistakenly placed on Myspace, which recently merged Imeem.com with myspacemusic.com, in a bid to keep parts of Imeem still functional.

Not exactly a warm welcome from Imeem's 16 million followers who still express their angst at Myspace over Twitter although the press is well-abreast of actuality.

Myspace , to prevent this backfire on its good intentions, should have informed Imeem fans through email of proceedings.
