Reliance, Pearle Europe plan 700 eyewear stores in 7'8 years

Reliance Retail is led by Mukesh Ambani, and Pearle Europe is the biggest optical retail group in Europe.

As of now the joint venture ' Vision Express have 41 stores in India. The Vision Express will continue to open company-owned stores with an average floor space of 800-900 sq ft.

On this, Guillame Brouwet, chief executive officer (CEO), Vision Express said, "We want to have a network of 500-700 outlets of Vision Express over the next seven to eight years. That's the longer term outlook."
