Sameer Singh takes charge as Group CEO at HT Media, succeeding Praveen Someshwar

Sameer Singh has officially assumed the role of Group CEO at HT Media.

Praveen Someshwar, who will step down as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of HT Media effective February 28, formally handed over the leadership to Singh during a company townhall.

Before joining HT Media, Singh was Head of North America Global Business Solutions at TikTok/ByteDance, where he led advertising and sales teams overseeing all ad revenue in the region.

Previously, he served as CEO of GroupM India and South Asia, where he played a key role in driving growth and innovation for the agency. His career also includes a tenure at Google, where he managed agency partnerships in India and developed digital strategies for global clients across the Americas.
