Samir Singh Departs Unilever After 27 Remarkable Years

Samir Singh, the former Chair of Unilever Asia and Head of Unilever Singapore Hub, is departing from the company after a distinguished 27-year career. He is set to join a new organization, with details to be revealed later this year.

In a LinkedIn post, Singh highlighted the importance of his team, the relationships he formed, and the company's culture over making grand visionary statements.

Singh’s tenure at Unilever spans over two decades in various key roles. Prior to his recent positions, he headed the Global Skin Cleansing division and served as the Executive Director of Personal Care. He also held the position of Global Brand Vice-President from 2010 to 2014.

“What kept me at Unilever and Hindustan Unilever for such a long time, beyond the diversity of roles and locations, beyond the successes and failures, are the small and often overlooked joys of this everyday existence,” he stated.

Singh joined Unilever in 1998 as an Area Sales Manager. By 2006, he was leading the skincare division as the Marketing Director. His career includes working on purpose-driven and sustainability-focused campaigns for Unilever, contributing to the success of iconic brands like Dove, Lux, Lifebuoy, Pepsodent, and Close Up.

Singh’s departure marks the conclusion of a significant chapter for Unilever, reflecting a career dedicated to driving growth and innovation across various sectors within the company.
