SPNI’s Studio Next Appoints Suvonkar Banerjee as Creative Director

 Sony Pictures Networks India's (SPNI) production arm, Studio Next, has appointed Suvonkar Banerjee as its new Creative Director. Banerjee replaces Indranil Chakraborty in the role and will report to Danish Khan, Business Head for Sony LIV and Studio Next.

Banerjee joins Studio Next after his tenure at Disney+ Hotstar, where he served as an Editor. He has previously worked with Star and brings extensive experience in content creation and storytelling.

This appointment follows SPNI’s leadership restructuring last year, where Danish Khan was given charge of Sony LIV and Studio Next, focusing on digital offerings. Meanwhile, Neeraj Vyas was appointed as Business Head for SPNI's Hindi entertainment channels, including SET, SAB, PAL, and Hindi Movies.
