Star's Satyameva Jayate records 3.8 TVR

The most talked about television show of the year, Satyameva Jayate marking Aamir Khan’s first stint with television made its debut on 6th May,Sunday in the 11:00 am slot, on all channels of the Star network and on Doordarshan.The show managed to garner a 3.8 TVR in the HSM metros of Mumbai,Delhi and Kolkata.

 

In the mid-week rating by TAM for the six metros  including, Chennai,Bangalore and Hyderabad;Satyameva Jayate recorded an average TVR of 2.9.

 

According to the data provided by TAM Media, in the All4+ category,the show received a 4.27 TVR in the six metros for all nine channels that it was aired on(Star Plus, Star Pravah, DD National, ETV, Star Utsav, Vijay, Star Jalsha, Star World & Asianet ).

 

Satyameva Jayate is the first show to be aired on the public broadcaster Doordarshan along with other entertainment channels simultaneously and it gained a TVR of 0.43 on DD National.

 

In the CS4+ category,the show recorded an overall viewership  TVR of 4.08 TVR.

 

Satyameva Jayate has been able to attract a lot of attention in the social networking media too.
