Suzuki-VW joint venture begins in Jan

Suzuki Motor Corporation ' is Japan's fourth largest auto-maker, and Volkswagen (VW) AG, last week, had a tie-up. The tie-up will show Europe's top automaker taking 19.9 percent of Suzuki.

Both (Suzuki Motor Corp & VW AG), joint venture will begin next fiscal, some were around in January10.

In fact, CEO, Suzuki, Osamu Suzuki said, "The new partners have agreed they want to develop a competitive, small car, seen as key to expanding sales in developing countries."

"We generally understand what we want from each other, through information exchange up to now. Actual, detailed execution -- with our people going there and their people coming here -- will be after January," CEO added.
