Swanrose India Launches the creative ‘#IamJustHuman’ Campaign

The inception of Swanrose in May 2021 was the beginning of creating the instance for people to ‘Live a Limitless Life’ with the launch of disruptive liberating products in the personal care segment. Their first product was officially launched in India and the United States in May and September 2021 respectively. A product that gives you the freedom to use just once a day for all day safety, ‘Just Human’ is a revolutionary 24-hour hand sanitizer (use just once a day). It has gone on to become a game changer in the Healthcare Segment and is the first of its kind to provide an extended protection.

Basis that, we have launched a #IAMJUSTHUMANCampaign which is our first expression of our beliefs and values in stopping the spread of discrimination and creating a voice for people to share their stories of discrimination. The campaign is live on Instagram from 26th January, 2022 and you can send your messages in the comments section of the film or as a DM to the brand. The film is then customised with their message at the end and gets shared over DM with the viewers, who can turn their lives, who can then in turn share the personalized views.

The main objective of the brand is to spread awareness and create inclusivity in today’s highly polarized world with the ethos that eventually we are all “Just Human” regardless of caste, colour, class or religion, and we all aspire to “live a limitless life”. The primary message on this campaign is – Diseases Don’t Discriminate. Neither Should We. Stop The Spread.  #IAMJUSTHUMAN.

Talking about the campaign, Roshini Sanah Jaiswal, CEO of Swanrose India said: Swanrose has a vision to “enable people to live a limitless life” Just Human as a 24-hour hand sanitizer was built using smart science to enable this vision. The #iamjusthuman campaign is an extension of this. Just as disease prevents you from living a limitless life so does discrimination. The tags take simple indoctrinated discriminations that can be extremely debilitating and give people a platform to share their stories as eventually we are all just human and want to live a limitless life” regardless of caste, colour, class or religion.

Discrimination is the bane of the human condition and there are stories of discrimination across the world, across genders, across races, everyone among us has faced discrimination at some point and in some form. The #IamJustHumanCampaign’ aspires to bring forth these stories in order to alleviate the stigma around the discrimination people have lived through. With these stories, we as a brand, hope to give voice to the voiceless and create a safe space for those who have suffered. Each story shall be told through the lens of the discrimination that each individual has faced, by adopting the hashtag #IAmJustHuman. Below are some of the discriminations that we have highlighted -

JustFat – If you’ve suffered discrimination for being fat / overweight.

JustDark – If you’ve suffered discrimination for being dark skinned / dark complexion.

JustSecular – If you’ve suffered discrimination of been trolled for your secular views on caste and religion.

JustTrans – If you’ve suffered discrimination for your trans identity and looks.

JustIndian – If you’ve suffered discrimination because you don’t look Indian and maybe from the North east.

JustGay – If you’ve suffered discrimination for your sexual orientation or the way you dress.

JustSex – If you’ve suffered discrimination and disgrace for wanting to have sex before marriage.

JustSlut – If you’ve suffered discrimination because you’ve slept with many people or you dress provocatively.

JustLove – If you’ve suffered discrimination and have been prevented from dating or marrying someone who doesn’t come from your class, caste or religion.

JustSingle – If you’ve suffered discrimination for being single and having to rely on male members for renting a flat (for e.g.) or anything else.

JustDivorced – If you’ve suffered discrimination for being Divorced.

JustGirl – If you’ve suffered discrimination and not being given equal inheritance because you’re a girl (for eg.) and for walking, talking, dancing and looking girly, for being born a girl.

JustLesbian – If you’ve suffered discrimination for your sexual orientation or the way you dress.

JustManly – If you’ve suffered discrimination for looking too masculine, having muscles, tattoos, etc.

Why are these stories important? They’re important because they are real, real lives of real people. To amplify this cause, Just Human has collaborated with the celebrities and influencers who have faced discrimination. Their stories will be aired on TV and on social media through their own profiles along with a call to action for the public at large to share their stories of discrimination. The TVC campaign was curated by the Creative Agency Goodness of Design.

and Anupriya and many other celebrities have come forward to talk about the Campaign. In addition to this, SwanroseIndia is collaborating with 120 more micro-influencers all sharing their stories of discrimination and adopting a tag.

The message this whole campaign wants to spread is that the Diseases don’t discriminate, and we shouldn’t either. Stop the spread of discrimination because #iamjusthuman. The philosophy behind this campaign is to empower people and enable them to live life without limitations. The idea here is to be inclusive and not exclusive.

We are aiming to target young millennials and GenZ, who are open to understand what it is meant to be discriminated and might have faced something similar in their online or offline lives. Diseases don’t discriminate nor do they have any regard for geographical boundaries. Eventually, we all are “Just Human” regardless of caste, colour, class, or religion, so the products we use to protect us need to be developed with the same principles.
