Tamil film 'Singam' to get a grand launch in US

BIG Cinemas, a division of Reliance MediaWorks has big plans for the Surya starrer Tamil film Singam. The company owned by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group is planning to release with more than 30 screens across 24 locations /cities in USA, the biggest ever release of a Tamil film in US. These include 10 own locations of BIG Cinemas US.

Singam is Surya's 25th film. Singam revolves around smuggling activities taking place in Rameshwaram.

Surya plays a cop after the stupendous hit Khaaka Khaaka and the film is expected to have the right mix of sentiments and comedy like all other Hari films.

As an exclusive, BIG Cinemas is also hosting a 'Surya searches for his biggest fan in US' contest from May 23rd to June 07th. Surya himself selects the winner, who gets to exclusively video chat with him and autographed Singam movie merchandize which includes the police uniform and accessories worn by Surya himself.
