Tiger Woods dropped by Accenture amidst sex scandal

With Tiger Wood's announcement of an indefinite hiatus from golfing to sort out marital problems in the wake of revelations of an extra-marital sex scandal, Accenture, one of Wood's major sponsors, have decided to terminate the business metaphor that emerged out of using Wood's as a major icon of their advertising strategy; recently, they moved to remove all mention of Wood's from their site .

Although Accenture will continue with it's "High Performance Business," and " High Performance Delivered" platforms, Wood's is no longer considered a suitable ambassador for the firm, which plans for a major revamp are along way for 2010.

Although Tiger Wood's largest sponsor, Nike, have offered him their unequalled support, Gillette will reduce his visibility in their marketing campaign during his hiatus, with AT&T re-evaluating their working relationship with him.
