Times Now completes another year successfully

Times Now ' an English news channel has completed another successful year as the undisputed leader amongst English news channel in the country.

TIMES NOW is brought to you by Times Global Broadcasting, a Bennett, Coleman & Co service, the largest media conglomerate in south Asia. The channel was launched in January 2006.

Times Now has left the competition far behind, it has set itself on growth trajectory from past many years. The channel has emerged as the Indian viewer's clear choice for English news. The channel has been chosen for its incisive and "in your face' journalism, by the Indian viewers as it provides the news as it is, unadulterated and pure.

According to TAM data, Times Now was at the leadership position for 49 weeks out of 52 in the year 2009. And, in terms of channel viewer ship share the channel garnered an average channel share of 33 per cent in comparison to NDTV's 23 per cent and CNN-IBN's 22 per cent for the entire year.
