Traya collaborates with Baba Sehgal to spread hair loss awareness

Baba Sehgal, one of India’s iconic rap artists, has returned to the music scene with a unique collaboration with Traya, India’s first health-tech brand focused on treating hair loss. The collaboration aims to raise awareness about the importance of taking action before it’s too late, especially in relation to hair loss, an issue affecting millions of men across India.
In a time where 50% of men facing hair loss are under the age of 25, and 62% report a significant loss of confidence due to this condition, Baba Sehgal’s catchy rap video addresses these emotional challenges with humor, relatability, and a call to action. In collaboration with Traya, the video encourages men to acknowledge the early signs of hair loss and take proactive steps before resorting to drastic measures such as hair transplants or living with bald patches.
The rap video captures the emotional journey of hair loss, beginning with denial and stress, progressing to acceptance, and ultimately focusing on the empowerment that comes with taking action. Baba Sehgal uses his trademark humor and witty lyrics to convey important messages about self-esteem, societal pressures, and the simple steps men can take to address hair loss. In the video, he reflects on his own journey with hair loss, saying, “I might have lost the hair game, but you don’t have to!”

Saloni Anand, Co-founder of Traya, shared: “Hair loss can be a difficult topic for men to discuss, which is why partnering with Baba Sehgal was a natural choice. His humor and wit make the subject more approachable, while still delivering the message that hair loss is reversible if action is taken early. We want men to know that they don't have to face this challenge alone, and at Traya, we provide comprehensive solutions to help them take control of their hair health.”
The video is now available across digital platforms, with a special focus on YouTube and social media channels like Instagram, hoping to engage and inspire men to take control of their hair health before it’s too late.
