Viacom18 names Sameer Goswami as VP & Head of Business Operations for North America

Media conglomerate, Viacom18 Media Pvt. Ltd. announces a key appointment with Sameer Goswami as the Vice President and Head of Business Operations, North America of the company's international business. As part of the new role, Sameer will be responsible for managing and expanding company's Broadcast Operations across the continent. He will be reporting to Gaurav Gandhi, Head ' Distribution & International Business ' Viacom18 & COO Sun18.

Sameer Goswami joins Viacom18 from Vision Asia ' Australia and New Zealand, where as the CEO he played a key role in revitalizing the company, making it the fourth largest DTH operator in the region. He has a rich experience across diverse international markets in advertising, FMCG marketing and entertainment industries. Previously, Sameer has held key positions in organizations like ConAgra Foods, Hungama.com, Leo Burnett and Lintas India Ltd. Sameer has received his Masters in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and Masters in Science (Marketing) from the University of Guelph, Canada.
