Weekend Exclusive | Can't relate myself to Indian television roles: Actor, Rithvik Dhanjani
He marked his presence with his role as "Jay Khurana' on Colors show Pyar Ki Ek Kahani. He is also known for his role in his current show, Pavitra Rishta and for his past movie, Jo hum Chahein.
While chatting with Adgully Rithvik Dhanjani spoke about his current role and much more.
He says, "My character here in Pavitra Rishta has been really amazing and different. Here Arjun DK Kirloskar is a very business oriented person and has no time for love and only believes in money and power."
Dhanjani seems to have been enjoying being a part of the show. He told us that It's an amazing show and the only reason he said yes to the show was the fact that this show is his mother's favorite one.
Also, he believes that this show is the only show which is based as per real life scenario. For him relating himself to television shows here in India is a big challenge as he has been staying abroad since 17 years. He says, "I can't really relate myself to Indian television roles but I know really well about them as I have read a lot about many shows and have personally followed some as well."
Speaking about his past performances, he said, "I have done many shot films and movies as well. I came in lime light with my performance in Pyar Ki Ek Kahani."
Dhanjani has also shot for some short films, out of which, "Aftermath Mumbai" which is directed by Rama Rao is one.
