YRF's shows fail to spell magic

As the Yash Raj Films had a grand tie-up with Sony Entertainment channel, speculations of Sony doing good on TRP chart were doing the rounds.

But now as the shows from YRF stable have already made their debut on the channel, it seems these shows haven't helped the channel much.

According to the reports, three out of five shows from YRF had a cold start and the TRP recorded was within 0.9 to 1.4.

The Karan Johar-hosted reality show, Lift Kara De, opened with a TVR of 1.3 (1 January, Friday), it managed to garner a TVR of 1.4 on its second day (2 January). The one-hour show is aired on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm.

According to Tam, Seven, the sci-fi product from the YRF TV pocket, opened with a TVR of 1.1 (Friday, 9-10 pm), while fiction show Mahi Way opened with 0.9 (Saturday, 9-10 pm).
