Be heard. Be found. Hennessy's International Talent Quest
Since 1994, Hennessy has supported the Blues Passions festival in the heart of Hennessy's hometown Cognac, France. Now, Hennessy fans can submit a video entry of their own performance to the Be Heard. Be Found. tab on the Hennessy artistry India Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hennessyartistryindia), submitting their music online for a chance to take their music to the Blues Passions festival stage, joining A-list artists including Sting, Hugh Laurie, The Cranberries and Selah Sue in the beautiful town of Cognac this summer.
All video entries will be judged by an esteemed panel, across two phases of selection, before being given to the public to vote on the Be Heard. Be Found. tab on Facebook:
1. By a panel appointed by Hennessy India, which will include Lalitha Suhasini (of Rolling Stone India), Bhavishyavani Future Soundz (one of India's earliest and most eminent EDM collectives) and Gaurav Bhatia - Marketing Director, Moët Hennessy India
2. Selected entries from India will then be judged by Hennessy International, Blues Passions, and a renowned international music journalist
The final step will see renowned celebrity judges pick their top three finalists to take their music from online to onstage at Blues Passions, a festival that has hosted performances by musical legends including B.B. King, Gil Scott Heron and Ray Charles as well as Massive Attack, Moby, Taj Mahal, and Jamie Cullum. The Be Heard. Be Found. talent quest are looking for musicians that can bring their own musical uniqueness and dynamic performances to Blues Passions. Staying true to the roots of music and the Blues heritage carried out by the festival, all entries must fit into the genres of Blues, Soul, Funk, Folk, R & B, Boogie, Swing, Country, Gospel, Hip Hop, Slam, Rock'n Roll ...
To kick off the Be Heard. Be Found. Talent Quest, Hennessy will showcase exclusive films from last year's Blues Passions festival on the Hennessy artistry India Facebook page. The videos will feature backstage footage, artist interviews, live performances and bespoke acoustic sessions in the Hennessy Founder's Cellars, all available for viewing on the Be Heard. Be Found. tab on the page.
The Be heard. Be found. Talent Quest opened for entries on Monday 9th April, 2012.
