Founded in 2008, Chrome DM has grown from a small distribution audits company to a comprehensive industry leader, pioneering in several industry segments and expanding its service offerings to meet the evolving needs of the media and entertainment sector.
Chrome DM began its journey with a modest team of five, operating in just 10 towns. Today, it stands as a robust organization with over 650+ dedicated professionals, spanning over 3,300 towns and 5.9 lac villages across India. Starting with 100 panel homes in 2009, the company had expanded to an impressive 34,000 by 2019. The number of touchpoints has surged from 400 to 3.6 lakh active respondents and over 100,000 active SDKs across digital touchpoints, reflecting its extensive reach and influence.
Initially focused on distribution audits, Chrome DM has diversified its portfolio to include four distinct verticals:
- Traditional Media: Offering a wide range of services for broadcasters, like Chrome Track 2.0, Subscriber Establishment Survey (SES), Distribution Potential Index (DPi), Chrome DM has established itself as a trusted partner for the entire broadcast industry.
- New Media: With the advent of OTT platforms, Chrome DM launched Chrome OTT (COTT), providing monitoring and analysis services for OTT content and measuring consumption across all digital platforms via Chrome Digital Track.
- Brand Audits: This division focuses on retail audits, mystery shopping programs, and other services that deliver critical insights to brands about their market performance and consumer engagement.
