Colors appoints Pappan Majumdar as Head Property Sales

Colors has appointed Pappan Majumdar as Head Property Sales. Majumdar was previously with National Geographic and Fox channel as Vice President. Talking to Adgully, Majumdar, confirmed about his appointment.

He will be taking up the position in February, and will be handling the responsibility from Delhi, reporting  to Simran Hoon, National Sales Head, Colors. Commenting on the new role that he will be taking in near future Majumdar, said, "I am very excited about this opportunity. To move from niche channel sales to property sales for Colors who are the leaders in the General Entertainment Channel, it will be fascinating."

Majumdar is an alumnus of Times School of Marketing and started his career with Bennett Coleman & Co. In the past he has worked with MTV as Account Director and at Star TV as Associate Vice President. Majumdar has got more than 13 year of experience in Media Ad Sales and mostly in television marketing.

Manumdar's Facebook profile describes him as a simple down to earth person, who depends a lot on friends, adores his family, loves staying busy and always keeps himself happy. He takes life as it comes, he works hard and parties harder. He needs his own space and time and takes decisions on his own. We  hope that his decision may add lots of revenues to already No 1 Colors
