Geeta Kapur lauds Vaishnavi Shekhawat: 'You Don't Know How Good You Are'

Teenage dancer Vaishnavi Shekhawat stunned the judges on Sony TV's dance reality show 'India's Best Dancer - Season 4' with her captivating performance. Hailing from Rajasthan, Vaishnavi left a lasting impression with her unique blend of contemporary and jazz-funk styles.

The judges, including Bollywood veterans Karisma Kapoor and Terence Lewis, were left speechless after Vaishnavi's performance to the title track of the film 'Gehraiyaan.'

Geeta Kapur, one of the judges, was particularly moved by Vaishnavi's performance, remarking: “I don’t think you understand how good a dancer you are.” She went on to express her deep admiration, comparing the joy Vaishnavi’s movements brought her to the happiness she felt while judging a children's dance show in the past. Geeta was so impressed that she wished to bless Vaishnavi’s feet by applying a ‘kala teeka,’ a traditional mark for good luck, and praised her unique personality and individuality.

Karisma Kapoor also praised Vaishnavi, awarding her the signature "Lolo Loves" for her captivating performance. Terence Lewis, another judge, was left speechless by Vaishnavi’s poise and grace, stating: “Your performance put me in a zone that I don’t want to get out of. You are a beautiful classic dancer and I have never seen anyone like you through all these seasons of India’s Best Dancer. I will never forget this performance."

Vaishnavi's dedication to her craft also shone through. Her father revealed that she even prioritizes practice over outings, highlighting her unwavering passion for dance.

The episode also saw choreographer Prateek Utekar express his desire to challenge Vaishnavi to a dance battle.
